Back-to-Back Champions: AUPP Law to Represent Cambodia in Washington D.C.
PHNOM PENH, February 22, 2026 — Excellence in international law has a home at the American University of Phnom Penh (AUPP). After two days of rigorous intellectual combat on February 21–22, the AUPP Law team emerged as the National Champion of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition for the second consecutive year.
The team is now preparing for the ultimate challenge: traveling to Washington, D.C., from March 28 to April 4, 2026, to represent Cambodia in the International Rounds against the brightest legal minds from around the world.

The Team Behind the Victory
Led by Captain Noraknun CHHUM and coached by Professor Sothie KEO, the team’s victory is a testament to the mentorship of the AUPP Law faculty. The Jessup is the oldest and largest moot court competition in the world, and representing Cambodia on this stage is a significant honor for the students and the institution.
