Selecting the Future: ISTAD Conducts High-Stakes IT Scholarship Exams for 2026

PHNOM PENH, February 28, 2026 — The atmosphere at ISTAD was one of intense focus this Saturday morning as hundreds of candidates sat for the third generation of the MPTC Digital Skill Development scholarships. This prestigious program covers critical 21st-century specializations, including Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, and DevOps Engineering.

The Path to a 100% Scholarship

To ensure that these 100% funded positions are awarded to the most capable students, ISTAD implemented a rigorous three-hour written examination covering both technical logic and English proficiency.

• Technical Core: Candidates were tested on Java Programming, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Networking basics, and Linux.
• Web Fundamentals: Questions spanned HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Database basics to gauge the candidates’ readiness for Full Stack Development.
• Integrity & Transparency: The institute prepared two distinct test versions of equal difficulty to ensure a fair and accurate selection process.
