Future Pharmacists in Action: UP Students Volunteer for CHPAA Mobile Clinic
PHNOM PENH, February 2026 — The Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Puthisastra is celebrating the successful completion of a vital community service mission by 23 dedicated pharmacy students. These students recently volunteered their time and expertise for the Health Screening and Mobile Clinic Program, organized in collaboration with the Cambodian Health Professionals Association of America (CHPAA).
A Commitment to Community Health
The volunteer program served as a hands-on platform for students to apply their pharmaceutical knowledge in a high-impact environment. Their work with the CHPAA mobile clinic focused on:
- Professional Service: Demonstrating strong dedication and professionalism while interacting with community members.
- Compassionate Care: Practicing pharmacy with a spirit of love and compassion, ensuring patients felt supported and understood.
- Ethical Standards: Maintaining high ethical standards in every health screening and consultation performed.
- Effective Teamwork: Working seamlessly alongside international health professionals to provide efficient care.
Building Future Leaders
The Faculty of Pharmacy has expressed its sincere appreciation for these 23 volunteers, noting that their active participation is a clear indicator of their future leadership in the field. By engaging with the public through the CHPAA program, these students have not only improved community health but have also refined the soft skills—responsibility and public service—that are essential for modern healthcare providers.
