From Phnom Penh to Seoul: S.V.S. Nursing Students Share Global Clinical Insights
PHNOM PENH, February 13, 2026 — The second campus of the Technical School of Medical Nursing (S.V.S.) hosted an inspiring “Knowledge Sharing Ceremony” today. The event focused on the transformative experiences of 4th-year International Professional Bachelor of Nursing (IPBN) students following their clinical study visit to the Republic of Korea.
The ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Tan Ngee, Director of Medical Technology and representative of H.E. Prof. Sapun Vattanak, Advisor to the Ministry of Health.
Bridging the Gap: Senior Mentorship
The program was strategically designed to allow 35 graduating seniors to mentor 1st-year Bachelor of Nursing students. As these juniors prepare to transition into their second year for the 2025-2026 academic cycle, the presentation provided a roadmap for their future international opportunities.
Key Highlights of the Clinical Visit included:
- Advanced Healthcare Technology: Observations of South Korea’s world-leading medical equipment and digital patient management systems.
- Clinical Best Practices: Insights into international nursing standards, patient care ethics, and specialized surgical nursing.
- Cultural Competency: Understanding how to provide care across different cultures and languages—a vital skill for the modern “International Bachelor.”
A Collaborative Effort in Health Education
The ceremony saw high-level participation from the Hebron Medical Center, alongside government officials and specialized faculty members. This collaboration highlights the school’s role in the Ministry of Health’s broader vision to elevate Cambodian nursing to international benchmarks.
By sharing these “field trip” activities, S.V.S. ensures that every student—regardless of their current year—understands that their nursing degree is a passport to global medical contribution.
