Global Diplomacy: NISC Delegates Represent Norway at THIMUN The Hague
THE HAGUE, NETHERLANDS — Twelve talented students from Northbridge International School Cambodia (NISC) recently represented the school on the global stage at the annual THIMUN (The Hague International Model United Nations) conference. Held at the prestigious World Forum, the delegation took on the responsibility of representing the Kingdom of Norway.
A Masterclass in International Relations
The conference provided an intensive environment for students to engage with complex global challenges:

- Diplomatic Debate: Students used their research to expertly advocate for Norway’s positions during heated debates.
- Ceremonial Scale: The experience was bookended by awe-inspiring opening and closing ceremonies at the World Forum.
Expanding Horizons Beyond the Forum
While the diplomatic sessions were the focus, the trip served as a broader cultural and educational tour:
- Cultural Exploration: Students explored the rich culture, sights, and cuisine of the Netherlands.
- International Connections: The tour allowed NISC students to forge new relationships with fellow delegates from around the world.
- Personal Growth: From navigating a new country to participating in global-scale events, the experience significantly expanded the students’ horizons and knowledge.
