CamEd Delegates Shine at WIMUN New York 2026
NEW YORK CITY, February 13, 2026 — From February 9 to 13, the halls of the WIMUN New York 2026 Conference buzzed with the energy of 1,500 students from across the globe, including a standout delegation of 20 students from CamEd Business School.
WIMUN (WFUNA International Model United Nations) is renowned for being the world’s most accurate simulation of the United Nations, utilizing actual UN rules of procedure to solve the world’s most pressing issues.
Mastering the Art of Diplomacy
The CamEd delegation spent five intensive days immersed in a rigorous schedule designed to test their leadership and negotiation skills:
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Working within various UN committees to draft resolutions on climate change, economic stability, and human rights.
- Debate & Public Speaking: Presenting national positions and negotiating with delegates from diverse cultural and political backgrounds.
- Consensus Building: Unlike traditional MUNs, WIMUN focuses on reaching a consensus, reflecting the true nature of international diplomacy.
A Journey of Cultural Exchange
Beyond the formal debates, the New York experience was a profound “human adventure.” The CamEd students:
- Built Global Networks: Connecting with peers from hundreds of different countries, sharing perspectives on business and policy.
- Strengthened Institutional Bonds: Navigating the challenges of an international conference fostered a deeper sense of unity within the CamEd student body.
- Experienced Global Leadership: Walking the same halls as world leaders provided a tangible sense of what it means to influence global change.
This international experience is a cornerstone of the CamEd philosophy, ensuring that our graduates possess the curiosity and dedication required to lead in a connected world.
