Mathematics is often called the universal language, but at Paragon ISC, we like to think of it as a grand adventure. From February 2–6, 2026, our campus transformed into a hub of logic, strategy, and creative problem-solving for Math Week 2026.
The goal was simple: to take math out of the textbooks and put it into action.
Where Logic Meets Creativity
Math Week isn’t just about long division or complex equations; it’s about how we see the world. Our students engaged in a variety of activities designed to challenge their brains and build their confidence:
- Puzzle Challenges: Students raced against the clock to decode patterns and solve riddles, proving that math is the ultimate brain gym.
- Singing & Solving: Who says math can’t be musical? This unique competition blended rhythm with arithmetic, helping students memorize formulas and concepts through song.
- Math Talks: These sessions highlighted real-world applications, answering the age-old question: “When will I use this in real life?”
- House Activities: Collaboration was key as students worked in their House teams to tackle massive logic obstacles, fostering a sense of unity and shared achievement.
Beyond the Classroom
The “Learning in Action” theme emphasized that math is a tool for critical thinking and teamwork. By working together to solve problems, students learned that persistence is just as important as the correct answer.
Watching our students transition from “I can’t solve this” to “We did it!” was the true highlight of the week. This shift in mindset is exactly what we strive for at Paragon ISC—developing thinkers who are ready for the challenges of tomorrow.
A Heartfelt Thank You
This impactful week wouldn’t have been possible without our dedicated teaching staff, who designed these creative challenges, and our enthusiastic students, who dove into every activity with curiosity and spirit.
