Cambodia Chinese School is the first K12 international school with Chinese basic education courses as the core, approved by the Cambodian Ministry of Education, in response to the national development plan of “China’s Education Modernization 2035”.
Cultivating students’ “traditional values and international vision” is the teaching purpose and goal of Cambodia Chinese School. The school adheres to the school-running philosophy of “optimizing the combination of Chinese and Western education and implementing quality education”, takes “establishing morality and cultivating people, being generous and tolerant, being practical, pioneering and innovative” as the school-running spirit, and adheres to the educational orientation of “moral education first, ability first, comprehensive development, and respect for individuality”, cultivating international elite talents with a sense of social responsibility and comprehensive comprehensive qualities in the new era.
The school is based on China’s nine-year compulsory education curriculum and high school curriculum, and has a trilingual teaching system with English and Cambodian as auxiliary. It fully introduces the basic education syllabus of the Ministry of Education of China and the teaching materials of the People’s Education Press, combined with international English courses and Cambodian courses, and is implemented by a Chinese teaching team stationed by famous Chinese colleges and universities. The diploma and academic qualifications are widely recognized internationally.
The school provides comprehensive teaching courses from kindergarten to high school for overseas Chinese students in Cambodia, Cambodian students and international students from other ASEAN countries.
Based in Phnom Penh and facing ASEAN under China’s “Belt and Road” initiative, Cambodia Chinese School strives to build a training base for overseas Chinese culture dissemination and Chinese education, and contributes to the educational, cultural and economic exchanges between China and Cambodia with education and culture as the link.
