ACHIEVERS INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL (AIS) was established in 2013 by Mr. Khong Sarithy, a parent who realized the importance of providing quality education to the future leaders and professionals of Cambodia. AIS was granted approval by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport on the same year.
The start of the Academic Year at AIS was August, with only ample number of students from Nursery to Grade 7. The following Academic Year the enrollment rose to a significant figure across Nursery to Grade 8. The student body was represented by about 4 nationalities. Today, AIS is truly an international school with a student body of 200+ students represented by over 6 nationalities speaking 7 languages, English Language being the main language where they can understand each other.
The school campus site is located across Bakheng Road, Phum Salakanseng, Krong 17252 Sangkat Svaydangkum, Krong Siem Reap, Cambodia. The Working Force is comprised of excellent and well-qualified professional teachers, local teachers, receptionists, and other staff such as our hardworking cleaners, drivers, and security staff from a private agency. The Administration, with input from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, was responsible for establishing the overall policy and objectives of the school and for ensuring that an excellent education is provided to students.
The school was authorized for the Kindergarten Programme, the Primary Years Programme, and the Middle Years Programme and High School Year Programme. During the Academic Year 2018-2019, AIS partnered with Hotels for a Career-related Programme – Work Immersion of Grade 11 and 12, which makes AIS the first to deploy high school students to experience working in the field of their interests.
Our School Philosophy is to provide a learning program that is challenging and appropriate to the current and future needs of our students. Our core belief is to teach our students the essence of Attainment, Integrity, and Success fulfilling the meaning of (AIS).
